So, Eponine is my girl, okay? You know how you read a book and there's a character you relate to a lot? Eponine is one of those characters for me. (Batman is another, but I highly doubt I'd be allowed to have Batman here, so Eponine it is.) I love her. I love the pants off of her.
Personality: Eponine doesn't think in terms of being manipulative, but she is. She can't help it, just look at who her parents are and how she was raised. She's trying to be a better person, mostly because she wants to be better, but there are so many things that doesn't occur to her might be a problem, to be honest. She's friendly and can fit into pretty much any group of people, being highly adaptable. She's most sympathetic to the Friends of the ABC, because she's gotten to know the lads and likes them well enough and wants to help them however she can. She still thinks in terms of herself and what she wants, and yes, she sometimes makes the wrong choice because of that, but she tries to set things right when she can.
Lovers: She's utterly and completely head over heels in love with her neighbor, Marius. (I actually ship them fairly hardcore, but by no means would I say "MAKE MARIUS FOR EPONINE!" since we do have a Cosette, and Marius and Cosette are canon. I'll simply say that I would love a Marius for multiple reasons, most of which being love triangle drama is one of my favourite things to RP, and I am more than okay with Marius ending up with whomever he ends up with.)
Enemies: Well. There's a lot of room for people in this group, let's be honest. I mean, on the one hand, her whole family is made up of criminals, though she's trying to get out of that life. So you'd have the people her family has cheated, usually with Eponine's help. Then there's anyone that she personally has wronged or stolen from. Or anyone that she's mouthed off against, of which there are likely a few. Really, this one is fairly open, so have at it.

Henri suggests that he and 'Nine could have a very interesting plot.. I'm sort of thinking.. he may hire her (without her known who he actually is!) to take him into the slums, sick houses, etc. in order to try to help people.. doing the dirty work, giving them food, literally making a difference.. and he could inspire her to fall in beside him that particular day.. helping people since he has the supplies to do it that she wouldn't have on her own.. and she finds him likeable and interesting. And then at some point in the future she'll figure out who he actually was. And then it's like PROBLEM. Best buds want a revolution but I just figured out the King isn't so bad... Uh.. PROBLEM LOL Dramas.

Long answer: I think it's a great idea, and I think it would be really interesting if she sees a lot of similarities between him and Gavroche, since Gavroche is her brother, because then it's not just "I've met the king and he's actually a good person", it's also "I've met the king, he's not a bad sort at all and is actually good, he's trying, and he's someone's brother and son and people would actually grieve him if he was killed, so is there any way to do this whole rebellion thing without all the death that was in the last one?" (Something I realized while shopping: the Les Amis guys were aristocracy. They were rebelling against something that benefitted them. They remember the last uprising and know that some of their friends' families were killed, and while I'm sure they were hoping that deaths like that wouldn't happen again, they knew it was a possibility that their friends would die for something they did. I'm not sure how that fits into this plot, but I thought it was interesting.)

Eponine&Renée: I hope these two might know and learn to like each other? Eponine is certainly a role model for this girl, still 'free' in the sense of not having become a lovely lady, even though she's got to survive on the streets. Knowing the repute of her parents, Renée might try her best to stay clear of them, since they are not exactly known to be kind to other thieves. Renée loves her life the way it is now and doesn't aspire something 'respectable', maybe she'd be trying to make Ponine see the good in the life she leads now?

EPONINE THENARDIERHowdy! So I was thinking that when Margot was still an actress in Paris Eponine would have been quite a young child. I'd say her parents would have used the theatre to pickpocket Lords (Dark, noisey and lots of people close together.), but Margot is very maternal so if she ever came across Eponine she would have gone out of her way to coddle her, perhaps giving her gifts she had gotten from suitors? If you're interested, I was thinking it could be fun to RP the two different times and contrast them and then if Margot found out who Eponine was she might end up becoming maternal again? I dunno feel free to dismiss this, it was just a thought XD

@beck: If you'd be willing to start it while I work on your code, that would be fantastic!
@gwen: Yes, I like this a lot! Eponine actually has a tendency to try to take care of people, especially girls, especially if they're younger than her, so I could see her trying to make sure that Renee's okay and not hungry and things like that. Her parents might disagree, but Eponine doesn't always fall in line with what her parents say, anyway. I'm all for this plot!
@shelly: OH MY GOSH YES THIS PLOT YES. *flails* Words can not express how much I love this idea. Eponine would absolutely have taken advantage of the theatre for pickpocketing, and I can see Baby!Eponine latching onto Margot for help if she got caught. Yeeeeees, we need to do this!

EPONINE THENARDIERWoo! I'm so happy XD Also my ego has grown ten times larger this day! So I was doing the maths and I think Eponine would have been 4-5 when Margot was in her last year at the theatre. Does that suit you? If not we can use artistic license and make her older XD Which kind of thread would you like to start with? Baby Eponine or current Eponine?

Eponine and Margot: I think I'd rather start with Baby Eponine, since that lays the groundwork for current Eponine and Margot! I can try to get one started shortly (I'm in the process of waking up) if you'd like?

Eponine & Azelma: SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, now that I have that out of the way, let me just say that I am sooooooo excited for these two. Happy bouncing in my office chair while reading newspapers excited. So, plots. I'm up for whatever. Azelma trailing Eponine to Les Amis' meetings and then falling asleep in the middle of them because she has no clue what they're talking about and the cafe is warm, and she doesn't care that she's probably totally embarrassing her sister in front of M. Marius, the two of them being all cuddly and cute, Azelma showing her the latest random bit of junk she stole. Just--all the plots, all the threads, all the angst, everything. Um. I lack any actual concrete first thread ideas however--maybe I should eat lunch whoops--but if you have anything I'd love to hear it.
