Lady Marguerite BlakeneyDid you hear about Lady Blakeney? She's the one who married that fop Percy Blakeney, I can only imagine it was for the money. She was middle class before the wedding you know, worked as an actress supporting that ghastly revolution. Apparently her friends and family call her Margot, isn't that darling. I can't imagine how she would be able to take over managing Blakeney Hall with her background, but with her looks men tend to fall at her feet. One can only assume that Sir Blakeney didn't marry her for her housekeeping skills. Oh yes I also imagine that's why she's well respected in the English courts, she just flutters those pretty blue eyes. They didn't save her in France though. Oh! Did you not hear? She was tried as an enemy of the republic and sentenced to the guillotine before the Scarlet Pimpernel saved her. Well howdy there cuties. This is where you can bounce your ideas off me for plots with Margot. She is a pretty sociable gal and is always making new friends, she's happily married and I can't see that changing but if you have any ideas send them to me anyway and we'll see if there is any potential in them! Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

LADY MARGUERITE BLAKENEY I think our dear ladies have a friendship to rekindle hm? I think we had plotted from before that they knew each other back to Margot's acting days at least casually as Marie liked her plays and usually went to them. They must have become close at some time after Margot chose Percy over Chauv though as Marie has no idea they have history (though I suspect she's about to find out..) So likely they became actual close friends when she and Percy wound up together because her family was one he initially helped and she's been supporting the league financially since. As well as offering to open her home to anyone who needs a place to rest while fleeing. I think we need a thread for when Margot finds out about Marie and Chauv cause.. DRAMAS!

MARIE EVANGELINE ROQUEFEUILYay you posted a plotter, I wasn't stalking the plotter section waiting for you to get your plotter up I swear...... +shifty eyes+ That all sounds perfect to me. I know Margot misses the stage so any conversations about that time would make her so exceedingly happy XD I'm sorry about that I think we started plotting and then life dragged me away from the site. If you don't mind I'd love to get Margot back to France, but she's currently exiled. A house like Marie's would be a great place for her to breathe in the French air in safety! Do you mind? It could also provide a nice segway into Chauvelin if he turns up for a quick visit and Margot spends the entire time hiding. Oh please yes. I cannot wait to write that thread. They will need copious amounts of alcohol to get through the resulting conversation.

SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEYYes please god yes! I want the moment when both Marie and Margot say "Paul" in exasperation and then look at each other like you know him? Before abandoning the boys to fight while they gossip.

LOL This must happen! I'll make the thread With that EXACT topic lol. We can say that Margot misses France so Percy brought her visit Marie and then totally unexpected Chauv shows up and while the girls are figuring out they both know him.. Percy is running to play adult hide and go seek. LOL But of course Paul should find him.. Literally. Like Percy should hide.. thinking Chauv won't find him but Chauv is a spy master and so of course.. LOL he will find him and open the door to whatever wardrobe or what not and be like ".. I know you're in there. Come out." PAUL CHAUVELIN , SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEY , LADY MARGUERITE BLAKENEY this sound good? Argh. Wrong account. Oh well.

I'm not sure Percy would actually hide? Because Chauv already knows his identity? He's not really the hiding type and anyone else would just see Sir Percy Blakeney Baronet - visiting France to restock his wine cellar!

That makes sense. LOL Maybe it's not so much hiding as wanting to avoid having to speak to him. So he just kinda goes into another room and HOPES Chauv won't come looking. But Chauv does?

Percy would LOVE to speak to Chauvelin! Winding him up is his favourite past time! If you don't want Percy in the room at whatever point, perhaps he could have been out scouting the local town etc, then come in and listen outside the door etc to the conversation until Chauv finds him?

SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEY , PAUL CHAUVELIN That sounds AMAZING. LOL This could all errupt at the same time. Chauv could find Percy at the same time both Marie and Margot are realizing they both know the same man. *giggles* Erruption.

A thought … LADY MARGUERITE BLAKENEY knows SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEY and Chauvelin hate each other’s guts don’t get along, though if she doesn’t know Percy=Pimpernel, she might assume it’s over her. MARIE EVANGELINE ROQUEFEUIL knows that Percy=Pimpernel, but might not be aware that Chauv even knows him from Adam, let alone hates him. And Chauv doesn’t know Marie knows Percy=Pimpernel, let alone is working for him. Which gives us the ingredients for a (literal) French farce. If Chauv’s there when Margot & Percy arrive, or vice-versa, Marie might think nothing of introducing them. After all, that’s part of a hostess’ duty toward her guests. Meanwhile Margot’s desperately giving her the high sign and Chauv and Percy are glaring at one another. But everyone’s at least pretending to be civil for Marie’s sake (because everybody likes Marie). (And then later, when Margot’s trying to explain the hostility as ‘well, I used to date him,’ and Marie says ‘you, too?’ … )

Also Henri likes to make people happy so he's here in person to plot with LADY MARGUERITE BLAKENEYHe asks her if it's ever safe for her to come out of exile what would she think of taking up the theater mask again for a show with the procedes going toward some sort of charity cause.
