Henri is the twenty-five year old leader of the Sacred Heart. Quite deeply Catholic and raised to be an aristocrat, he has become an adherent of republican ideals--and will fight for them, even if the society he advocates might bring down the life he's known as well. He's been spending much of his time in the forest, funding what is probably not too much more than a band of guerillas with income from his family estate... though I'm pretty sure his mother (Marie Roquefeuil, played by Beck) disagrees with this practice. He's a romantic at heart, and is stronger on conviction that he must fight than on the actual tactics necessary--he lacks military training or experience, though a boyhood spent in the forest as much as possible has given him a decent grasp of woodcraft and he knows the Fontainebleau Forest as well as anyone.
Friends: Henri has always gravitated toward the forest rather than social events, but has a reasonably friendly nature. He's probably a lot more guarded with friends from similarly aristocratic backgrounds than he was before the Sacred Heart, which might have consequences. He'd prefer to foster good relations with the surrounding peasants, etc. to encourage support for his activities--especially as he likely knows there is the possibility his mother might do something that prevents him from funding the Sacred Heart through the estate.
Enemies: Henri's enemies are likely to mainly be more political than personal, though I'd love to explore the implications of someone who dislikes him on a personal level. Political enemies, of course, are also a lot of fun--strong monarchists who know his leanings? His intentions are pure, but pure intentions and the feeling that certain types of violence are excused--or even condoned by God in the elimination of tyranny--can be a dangerous combination.
Lovers: Deeply in love with Helene de Rochambeau, Henri will not stray from her. That said, he's probably a fairly eligible bachelor on paper at least, so you're more than welcome to have someone try to get him to court someone else. It just won't work and is likely to become awkward for all involved (which can make for some pretty entertaining threads).
Others: Sacred Heart allies are always welcome. Heck, people he can capture in the forest are welcome. Lots of things are welcome. He could also probably use someone with more tactical knowledge to help him lead, as the Sacred Heart is probably bound to eventual failure with his inexperience and lack of understanding on how exactly one actually commands a paramilitary unit.
I'm honestly up for just about anything, so hit me up with any ideas for threads and/or long-term plots! The more complicated and schemey the better. Even if they get Henri wounded I am probably totally down for it. Throw all your ideas at me.
