Well... Henri hopes things don't go south enough that SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEY doesn't have to rescue him but.. one can never tell how things may turn out, can one? *grins*

Well, you know what they say -- women need a reason, men just need a place. So about that Versailles board ...

SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEY okay so. I think as we plotted on the old site, Marie and Percy go way back. During the first revolution he rescued her, Jean-Claude, and Henri. Jean-Claude went to England and Marie and Henri went to the estate out of the city. Her friendship with Margot also likely even pre-dates his and Percy's relationship because I think Shell and I plotted before that she knew Margot when Margot was an actress still. Likewise, Marie has been keeping double books from Henri so he doesn't know the true monetary situation so she can aid and abet The League. Safe to say she knows he's the Pimpernel from all this? XD She also offers her home as a way-stop for him, his men, and anyone they may be transporting.. as it's far enough out of Paris to be safe.. but not so far they couldn't make it on the first day.. which is an ideal spot to have a place to rest. As long as they steer clear of the Sacred Heart camp they should be plenty safe there. She also tells me that Percy is "Not as much a fop and a dandy as he puts on I -highly- suspect." So lol. safe to say she's either been told or put enough one and ones together to equal two and figure out his secret double life lol. MARIE EVANGELINE ROQUEFEUILYes I agree with all of that! If Chauvelin hadn't already clocked on to Percy's other identity this could be a problem for him, but I'm sure Percy will not be impressed with Marie's choice in man! Percy will also be a bit put out by her sons choice in waging a battle! Unless she keeps that from Percy? Percy will be coming to collect Helene at some point for her adoptive father, something which I think Marie might be more than happy to help with? This might also involve PAUL CHAUVELIN? KING HENRI D'ARTOISPercy would be proud to rescue the King!

PAUL CHAUVELIN SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEY *dies laughing* a scene where Henri has to order them apart. *giggles* And if things get bad enough Percy and Chauv might both get their chance. Henri is still looking sideways at that guillotine with distaste.

PAUL CHAUVELIN - Percy will take GREAT pleasure in seeing Chauvelin in a pigsty! The King should certainly come to England...after all we have cricket!

SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEY PAUL CHAUVELIN Yeaaahh I don't think he'll be too pleased with the choice of men lol. As far as son-Henri Marie will probably tell Percy the truth -- that Henri is trying to pull the fact that as a son of majority the family fortune technically belongs to him and he can do what he wants with it. What he doesn't know is that Marie has wised up to him and she's keeping double books. Which she'll probably also tell Percy. LOL He should approve her sneakiness and Chauv probably would too. Ahem yeah.. I think Marie will be VERY happy to help Helene back to her adoptive father via Percy. That... can definitely be arranged lol.

MARIE EVANGELINE ROQUEFEUILIs it really bad that I can imagine Margot returning to England after all this and writing lovely letters like; Hi, How are you? How is the Weather in France? Everything is fine here. Have you come to your senses yet? Hee no no I kid. Margot will come around to it probably quicker then poor SIR PERCIVAL BLAKENEY will. This is going to be fun because in all honesty I have no idea of how Margot will react. It really depends on the way the situation occurs around her, if Percy and PAUL CHAUVELIN start a row then she'll get irritated and remember Chauvelin's bad points, if Marie and Margot are left alone to chat she'll probably remember fonder memories and will understand the relationship better. Either way it is bound to be exciting XD

LADY MARGUERITE BLAKENEY Marie has no sense when it comes to Chauvelin. They're in the process of sleeping together the very first time they meet *sidelong glance at the pair* AHEM. Bad bad behavior children. But Marie will probably try to do damage control even if it involves just pulling Margot away if the guys get into like "... the boys can sort this out on their own."

Hey, now! Chauvelin apprenticed with Talleyrand and has always been extremely well-behaved in social situations. Even when his host (the fat Prince comes to mind) is being appallingly rude. He’s not the one who goes around making snide remarks about other people’s clothes, either.
